We ask that your child wear form fitting clothes or a leotard.
Any student with long hair will be required to have it pulled up and away from their face.
Gymnastic classes will NOT allow socks to be worn during class as it is a safety concern when practicing on equipment.
Tumbling classes will NOT allow socks to be worn during class however if your student is taking classes for cheer purposes and wants to wear shoes, they can as long as the shoes are CLEAN.
Preschool classes will have the option to wear socks.
No, we have a water fountain in the lobby and bottles of water available to purchase at the front desk for $1.
YES! We have a very comfortable lobby with windows looking into the gym so that you can see the progress and fun your child is having.
If you are signed up for a Move With Me class, you are required to accompany your child inside of the gym for the entire class. We ask that the parents of children in all other classes to please stay in the lobby during your child’s class. This is a safety issue for our students and our parents. We thank you in advance for adhering to this policy.
If your child is under 5 years old, we would prefer that you stay for your child’s class. However, you know your child best and can leave, if you think they will be ok without you during class.
You do not need to check in at the front desk (Exception is Monday/Thursday preschool class), attendance will be taken by the coaches at the beginning of class. Our front desk employee can assist you with registration, payments, scheduling a make up class and any other questions or concerns that you may have.
Please pick up your child’s wrist band with their name on it at the front desk. The wrist bands are different colors and will denote the group they are in. As we get to know your child, we may put them into a different group. We PROMISE to place your child in the group that will ensure that they get the most out of their experience at Flippers.
If you would happen to miss a class for ANY reason, a make up token will be added to your account. As long as you stay enrolled in consecutive sessions, your make up tokens will never expire. For instance if you enroll in Sessions I-VI and you missed a class in Session I and could not find time to make up the class until Session VI, your make up token would still be there for you to use. If you Sign up for Session I and miss class that you are not able to make up in Session I and take a break during Session II, then decide to sign up for Session III, your make up token will be gone. We do not refund missed classes, you are purchasing a spot on our roster that no one else can take. You can schedule a make up class on your own by logging into the parent portal at https://app.iclasspro.com/portal/flippersgym/ login, or you can stop by the front desk, call the front desk at 440-937-4496, or email flippersgymprogram@gmail.com.
